Editing

All editing services include a 1-hour consultation to discuss the changes made and answer any questions you may have. 

Editing rates are based on the median rates established by the Freelance Editors Association. 

Developmental Editing

$40/hour

A complete read-through of your manuscript to provide notes and guidance. This is a big-picture, macro look at things such as structure, themes, and character development.

Copy Editing

$50/hour

A complete read-through of your manuscript with a magnifying glass. This is a close up look at your work to improve sentence structure, grammar, and other nitpicky details. 

Proofreading

$30/hour

A microscopic read-through of your manuscript to catch and correct mistakes such as misspelled words and punctuation.
